Bair Island Aquatic Center (BIAC) is pleased to present the 15th Annual Fall Regatta on the beautiful San Mateo Marina Lagoon.  Our regatta marks the conclusion of the Fall racing season in California, and as such, attracts a great crowd of rowers and spectators alike. 

Over 100 crews, from Juniors to Masters, race over a 5,000m course.  Through the twists and turns of the lagoon, shells of all sizes compete including: eights, fours, doubles, pairs and singles.

Hundreds of spectators come out to support and watch the Fall Regatta.  Viewing is available from:

• Nearby bridges (Fashion Island Blvd,  Hillsdale Blvd)
• Tow paths along Foster City and San Mateo
• Water side docks and decks
• Parkside Aquatic Center (headquarters)

Racing starts at 8.30am and finishes around 1pm. Our Awards Ceremony then follows, where medals are bestowed upon the winning crews. Pick up a regatta program at the Parkside Aquatic Center or check the event schedule online to see who is racing when!

The Parkside Aquatic Center is Regatta Head Quarters where all the boats launch and dock.  Join us here for breakfast and lunch.  Pick up a memorable regatta t-shirt and peruse some of the other fun vendors on site. Meet the athletes and see some incredible racing shells. Note: Parking is challenging close to HQ.
